The Pakistan Society of Clinical Oncology (PSCO) express their profound grief and deepest sorrow on the sudden and untimely passing of Dr. Tariq Siddiqui, a highly distinguished and globally respected hematologist and oncologist of Pakistan. Dr. Siddiqui was a pillar of excellence in the medical community. Based in the United States, his lifelong dedication to oncology, unparalleled commitment to patient care, and contributions to advancing cancer treatment touched the lives of countless colleagues, trainees, and patients across borders. He was visiting Pakistan to be honored with a well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding services when he met his sudden demise in Karachi. His passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the global and local oncology fraternity. We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his grieving family, friends, and colleagues during this immensely difficult time. May Almighty Allah grant him the highest ranks in Jannah, forgive his shortcomings, and give his loved ones the strength and patience (Sabr-e-Jameel) to bear this monumental loss. Ameen.
